Itinerary
Day 1 Delhi arrival
In the morning upon your arrival at the Delhi airport our driver will meet you and you will be transferred to your hotel where you will check-in at your hotel. Later your guided tour of Delhi will start; you will visit the India’s biggest Mosque- Jama Masjid. After Jama Mosque visit “Raj Ghat” a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi who is the father of the nation. Now it is a drive for 20 minutes towards India Gate. This beautiful Gate was built during the British era. This Gate was erected in the memory of those brave soldiers who showed extreme valor and sacrificed their lives in the world war. Later proceed to visit President House and Parliament. In the afternoon visit Humanyun’s Tomb which is considered to be an inspiration for the world famous Taj Mahal. Afterwards you will proceed to visit Qutub Minar which is the world’s tallest tower and was constructed by the slave dynasty rulers Qutubuddin Aibak and Iltatmish. Enjoy overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 2 Delhi-Agra
Post breakfast continue your drive towards Agra via Yamuna Expressway which took around 3 hours to reach Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, check in the hotel and relax. Later visit the world heritage site Agra Fort a massive fort of 15th century built by Mughal emperors. In the evening enjoy the visit of Taj Mahal sunset from Mehtab Garden located across the river Yamuna. In the evening explore the world famous handicraft markets of Agra city. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Agra-Jaipur
Early morning enjoy the visit of Taj Mahal at sunrise. The Taj Mahal looks amazing in the morning hours. After the visit you will come back to hotel for breakfast at hotel. Later checkout and leave for Jaipur en-route visiting the fabled ‘’city of ghost’’ Fatehpur Sikri this once capital of Mughal Empire was made by Mughal king Akbar who as the folk lore goes was blessed by Sufi saint called saikh Saleem Chishti. He built a string of royal places and a huge mosque saddled on top of hillock. On your arrival in Jaipur you are assisted by us at the hotel. Enjoy overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 4 Jaipur
After a healthy breakfast we set off to visit Amber Fort saddled amidst the Aravalli hills, if interested an elephant ride awaits you here and you get to see a fort displaying the fusion of Hindu and Islamic style of architecture. Afterwards visit the city place where even today the royalty of Jaipur resides, here you will come closer to the royal life style, you can see hall of public audience (Deewan-e-Khaas), Baggi Khana- a museum in the palace of music complex where you find amazing collection of Palanquin, Baggis etc. Afterwards proceed to visit Jal Mahal. Later we take you to visit an observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 18th century be amazed to see the old gadgets devised to know the various planetary positions. After wards we take you to Hawa Mahal or the palace of breeze this structure will surely entice you with its unique beehive design, this was made with an intention to facilitate royal ladies and allow them to observe daily life in the street below without being seen. Your evening is free to explore the traditional markets of the pink city. After that you will return back to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 Jaipur-Delhi
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and you will be driven back to Delhi city. Here you can explore some markets in the evening and enjoy overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 Delhi-Khajuraho
Early morning you will get transfer to New Delhi railway station to board on a train bound to Jhansi. Upon reaching at Jhansi railway station, you will be received by our representative and your drive starts straight to the Orchha city situated in the middle of the forests. Earlier this city was the capital of Bundela kings where they made beautiful temples and forts in 16th century. Visit the Ram raja temple, Orchha fort which houses a large number of ancient monuments consisting of the fort, palaces, temple, and other edifices, Chaturbuj temple and Jahangiri Mahal is a citadel and garrison located in Orchha. After the tour completes you will continue your journey towards Khajuraho which is only 170 km took 3 hours to reach. Upon reaching Khajuraho check in to your pre-booked hotel and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 7 Khajuraho
After the breakfast, you will enjoy the sightseeing of the temple city Khajuraho. The world heritage monuments were built in 11th century and of the prominent site of Madhya Pradesh. Visit both of the groups of temple eastern and western and admire the beauty of classical pre-historic artwork. In this live show you will understand the story behind these temples by a documentary. Enjoy your dinner and return back to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8 Khajuraho-Varanasi
After a healthy breakfast you’ll check-out from your hotel and you’ll be transferred straight to Khajuraho airport from where you will board your flight bound to Varanasi. Upon reaching Varanasi you’ll be transferred to your hotel, check-in at your hotel. Later you’ll be taken to visit Bharat Mata temple Banaras Hindu University. In the evening explore the Ganga Aarti ceremony at river Ganges. Head back to your hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 Varanasi
Wake up early morning and leave to enjoy the Boat ride at river Ganges which is a breathtaking experience for every tourist. Here you can click the most colourful pictures of sunrise where locals performing different kind of rituals. Also explore the different Ghats where many tourists and locals gather to admire the beauty and to experience the boat ride at Ganges. a healthy breakfast Bharat Mata Mandir where you will not find any statue of god or goddess there is a big map of India carved on marble. After that you’ll visit Birla Temple which is comprised of the marble and its development was finished in 1965. The pinnacle of the sanctuary is known as the tallest sanctuary tower. In the evening visit Sarnath which is located 10 kilometres northeast of Varanasi, near the confluence of the Ganges and the Varuna rivers. According to Buddhist tradition, Sarnath is where, circa 528 BCE, at 35 years of age, Gautama Buddha taught his first sermon after attaining enlightenment at Bodh Gaya. After that return back to your hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 Varanasi departure
After a healthy breakfast you will check-out from your hotel and then you will be driven to Varanasi airport from where you will catch your flight for onwards travel.
